Monday’s high temperatures will be three digits in some parts of North Texas. Wednesday morning lows will be in the 50s!
Before it improves, it will get worse …
On Monday afternoon there is a Heat Advisory for the western portions of North Texas, where high temperatures could reach 105 °.
Our first decent fall front will arrive on Tuesday and bring lower cooling and humidity during the second half of next week.
The fall equinox will be Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 2:20 p.m., and the front will give the feeling of falling that first day of the season. The lows from Wednesday to Friday morning will probably reach the 50s for many!
There is a chance of some showers and storms as the front settles on Tuesday, but coverage seems low for most (20-30%). There could be a little more chance of showers and storms in the far south of North Texas during the afternoon to evening.
