Jaray Bledsoe predicted he would end up in Texas

In the early Steve Sarkisian era, no one has done a better job on the recruiting court than defensive line coach Bo Davis. He has already closed three engagements, the last being four-star Aaron Bryant on Thursday afternoon.

There are a couple of other targets still on the Texas board, one of which is four-star Jaray Bledsoe. Just making visits to Austin and College Station over the summer, everything seems to be trending towards another classic Lone Star Showdown.

With all the momentum Davis has created, it looks like Texas could close out Bledsoe, achieving a much-needed victory over Texas A&M. Two predictions have also come for the good guys.

Nick Harris and Mike Roach, both of Horns247, have inserted predictions of glass balls for Bledsoe in favor of the Longhorns. Each with a confidence score of seven.

Bledsoe recently changed high school and moved to Marlin, TX. Since it’s a 2A program, watching an inside defensive line player appear at 6 feet 4 and 270 pounds at such a low level is scary.

Below you can watch videos of the four stars dominating in a fight:

Before heading to the SEC, Texas knows the need to strengthen both lines. Davis has done his job, with a couple of more pending prospects. Bledsoe could be the cherry alongside Bryant, Kristopher Ross and Zac Swanson.

In composition 247Sports, Bledsoe is the country’s No. 21 defensive line leader and the country’s No. 123. Within the state of Texas, it ranks among the top 25 players, ranking 23rd.
