PEARLAND, Texas – Texas authorities have issued an amber alert for a 6-year-old boy who was abducted from his mother’s vehicle Thursday night.
Police say Amari Daniel Baylor was with her mother and two siblings at the Westside event center in Pearland, Texas, when the incident occurred.
Around 7:50 p.m., Baylor’s mother briefly got out of the car with her daughter and left the other two children in the vehicle.
At that time, authorities were informed that a Black woman between the ages of 20 and 30 was seen with long, straight, black hair, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing an orange shirt, which was seen Baylor pulling out of the vehicle through the driver’s rear window.
Police say the alleged kidnapper left the scene with the boy and drove away in a silver or gray SUV.
Baylor was wearing a white Adidas T-shirt, black Nike pants and red sneakers. He has no known disabilities.
