Audience comment: The Texas Commission on Human Services and Health (HHSC) welcomes public comments on the above issues. Members of the public who wish to make public comments can choose from the following options:
Members of the public can pre-register to provide oral feedback at the meeting by filling out a public comment registration form here. No prior registration required (see number 3 below). Check the correct box on the public comment registration form and provide your name, whether it’s the organization you’re representing or speaking as a private citizen, and your direct phone number. Public comment is limited to three minutes. Each speaker must indicate their name and the name of the speaker (if anyone). If you pre-register to speak and would like to provide a pamphlet prior to the meeting, send an electronic copy in accessible PDF format that will be distributed by HHS staff to TCCD members and state staff. Fact sheets are limited to two pages (paper size: 8.5 “by 11”, one side only). Sheets must be emailed to TCCD@hhsc.state.tx.us immediately after pre-registration, but no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 and must include the name of the person who will make the comments. Do not include health information or other confidential information in your comments or fact sheets. Staff will not read the sheets aloud during the meeting, but will be provided to TCCD members and state staff.
Members of the public can submit public comments in writing prior to the meeting by filling out a public comment registration form here. A member of the public who wishes to provide written public comments may email them to TCCD@hhsc.state.tx.us no later than 5:00 pm Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Include your name and address. the organization you are representing. or that you speak as a private citizen. Written comments should be emailed to HHSC immediately after prior registration and include the name of the person making the comments.
